Historic Arreton parish website council community history

Most of you will already know about the vandalism and theft of our
Moongazing Hare (at Arreton Cross), but happily he has now been found and restored (and we see that the magpies have celebrated with a coat of paint).

The Parish now has its own photo site, where you can view locally taken pictures. More about this on the blog, but if you just want to look, click here. This includes photos of the wonderful church flowers for Rupert Oulton's recent wedding and of the Moongazing Hare, doing just that!

On the 7-9th August, Arreton Community Theatre staged a production of Don Quixote in the garden of Budbridge Manor, by kind invitation of Piers and Venetia Verey. The first night (6th) was rained off, but the following three performances were a great success. The County Press reviewed it here and there are some photos here.
