Dark Skies
Light Pollution (and what you can do about it)

The CPRE campaigns to reduce light pollution. The Isle of Wight is blessed with relatively low levels, thanks to limited industrial activity and the barrier of the Downs for those stargazing on the South side.

A special mention is due to Wight Salads, whose glasshouse lighting is screened at roof level and remains almost invisible from above, despite the high intensity lights used for propagation.
